Description: Heartbreaking sale of our amazing pony who has been hopelessly outgrown. Eddie is a Welsh part bred 14.1 hand 11 year old bay gelding. We have had him for over 3 years. He came to us with low mileage and my daughter has done so much on him and had so much fun. He is a wonderful character and a pleasure to have on the yard. He gets on with everyone, both four legged and two! He has done: Endless PC events and rallies BS to Junior Newcomers Senior PC stay away camp PC eventing Wales and West Welsh Home Pony - SJ and Derby Arena Eventing Endless local shows Has hunted with a previous home Eddie has 3 correct paces and competed SJ at 80-100 with scope for more. He loves cross country and would be a great eventer! Eddie loves hacking and hacks alone or in company but is defintely better in front as he will get excited behind! Eddie has a JMB measurement and could do junior or senior BS. He is good to handle in every way - clip, travel and farrier. In the field he likes company and gets a bit worried if he is left alone so does require company. He lives out 24/7 but in bad weather he does live in at night or would need access to a field shelter. He has no lumps or bumps. Up to date with teeth and vaccinations. Passed a 5 stage vetting at the end of February and is open to further vettings. He would be ideal for a teenager or lightweight adult and is a second pony - he is not for novices and needs a knowledgeable confident rider with an established seat as he can buck when excited. Eddie has reared on a very few occasions when faced with something he really doesn't like but these are very few and far between over the course of our ownership. We purchased him knowing his and it has never been an issue. Happy to discuss this further and give examples. With this in mind I would only sell to a knowledgeable home who will give him the time to settle and establish a relationship with his new rider. Eddie is in work, being ridden by my 16 year old daughter and a 12 year old who has come out of a riding school and he is teaching her the ropes, regularly jumping 80/90cm. I'm not in a rush to sell him and will only sell him to the best 5* home. Please do not get in touch if you are looking for a foot perfect pony as although Eddie is an amazingly fun pony and has so much scope, he can be cheeky. He will be sold with a full and substantial wardrobe, including bridle and saddle.
