Description: Austin is a fabulous ridden unregistered standard Shetland gelding who is 10yrs old. He is a great lead rein pony being ridden by both a more nervous and novice child as well as a more established little rider. He has always been used as a lead rein pony, and has proven good in the school although a little green , great in the fields and on our country lanes and being good with the traffic he's seen. He’s happily pottered up the roads or in the fields with us and this is something he really enjoys. He has been off lead a small amount with my bigger Jockey. He was green and in need of more education off lead but he was very honest so this wouldn’t take much work. He's welcome to stay on schooling livery with us for somebody interested in progressing him more off lead rein. He's been mainly used to hack and potter about with a small child. He's a super friendly chap, who loves a cuddle and a groom and loves a cuddle. He’s good with dogs. He's good to catch and load. He already a yard favourite due to his super personality. He’ll happily tie up for a little helper to groom and mess for hours. Just had the farrier and is up to date with vaccinations. He can come with a saddle at extra negotiation. Doesn’t bite, kick, buck or rear.
